It all started in 1966 when Mr.Venkatraman(FOUNDER) got the idea of providing the best of Indian coffee. Chitra Coffee Works has been at it ever since. To begin with, it started as a small shop in the most historic place of South Tamil Nadu, Tirunelveli next to the India Cements. Since its establishment,it has grown to be the most preferred house-hold name around Tirunelveli and Sankar Nagar.
At Chitra coffee works, We have perfected the art of traditional coffee manufacturing with our own way of optimizing the flavour of coffee.Roasting is done by means of giant Electronic Roasters and grinding is done gradually by the giant grinders, so that the aroma and flavour of the coffee is not in anyway lost in the process.
